Help with Suppose
A real person reads every message. If the answer isn't below, write to us.
Contact us
Email support, any question at all:
support@supposeapp.comWe aim to reply within two business days. You can also write from inside the app: Profile → Settings → Contact us, which attaches your app version and device so we don't have to ask.
Suppose is made by a very small team, so you get a person rather than a ticket queue — but not at 3am. Bug reports, wrong answers, and feature requests are all welcome.
Getting started
What am I supposed to do?
Each claim is a statement that's either true or false. You don't pick a side. You move the slider to say how likely you think it is to be true, then lock it in. The answer, an explanation, and your score appear straight away.
Do I need an account?
No. The app works fully signed out. Your history is saved on the device and backs up in the background. Signing in is what lets that history follow you to a new phone.
How long does a day take?
Today's set is 10 claims — a few minutes. It refreshes each day at midnight in your own time zone.
Turning on the daily reminder
Profile → Settings → Daily reminder. Pick a time and allow notifications when iOS asks. If you said no to notifications earlier, iOS won't ask again — turn them back on in iOS Settings → Notifications → Suppose.
Subscription & purchases
What does Pro include?
Rapid fire (unlimited training), Estimation mode, category selection, and all seven categories, available as an annual subscription or a one-time lifetime purchase — see pricing in the app. The free daily set stays free either way.
Restoring a purchase on a new phone
Profile → Settings → Restore purchases, signed in to the same Apple Account you bought with. If it doesn't come back, email us the Apple receipt and we'll sort it out.
Managing or cancelling a subscription
Subscriptions are handled by Apple, not by us. On your device: Settings → your name → Subscriptions → Suppose. Cancel at least 24 hours before the renewal date, or the next year is charged. Cancelling leaves Pro active until the end of the period you've paid for.
Deleting the app does not cancel a subscription.
Refunds
Apple processes all payments and handles all refunds — we can't issue one directly. Request one at reportaproblem.apple.com. If something went wrong on our end, tell us and we'll back up your request.
Account & sign-in
There's no password field
By design. Sign in with Apple, with Google, or with a six-digit code sent to your email. There are no passwords to forget or leak. Apple's Hide My Email is fully supported — we never need your real address.
My code didn't arrive
Give it a minute and check spam. Codes expire, so request a fresh one rather than reusing an old email. Still nothing? Write to us from the address you're trying to use.
Deleting your account
Profile → Settings → Delete account. There are two confirmations, and it removes your account and its server-side data permanently. It can't be undone. If you'd rather we did it, email support@supposeapp.com from the address on the account.
Your data
Where is my history kept?
Your answers, confidence ratings, streak, and calibration history live on your device. They also back up to our server from first launch, with or without an account. An account is what lets a new phone reach that backup. Full detail is in the privacy policy.
Starting over
Profile → Settings → Reset all progress erases your training history from the device and from our server. This is permanent — there's no undo and we keep no copy.
Moving to a new phone
Sign in on the new device with the same method you used before and your history restores. If you were never signed in, history stays on the old phone only.
Report a wrong answer
In the app: tap the report icon on any question, pick a reason, and add a note. It reaches us with the question's id attached.
By email: send the claim text (or a screenshot) to support@supposeapp.com.
Every claim ships with a checked answer and a short explanation, but facts change and mistakes get through. Corrections go to the top of the pile.
Troubleshooting
Pro didn't unlock after paying
Try Restore purchases first, then fully close and reopen the app. Store receipts occasionally take a minute to propagate. If it's still locked, email us and include the receipt.
My streak reset and it shouldn't have
A streak counts days in your device's time zone, and it needs the set finished before midnight. Travelling across time zones or changing the device clock can cut a day short. If the maths still looks wrong, tell us the dates and we'll dig in.
I'm seeing questions I've already answered
You shouldn't be. Sets are drawn only from questions you've never answered, and once a category runs out the set comes back short rather than repeating anything. If you do see a repeat, that's a bug worth reporting.
The reminder never fires
Check iOS Settings → Notifications → Suppose is allowed, and that Focus or Do Not Disturb isn't filtering it out.
The app won't open, or crashes
Force-quit and reopen, then check for an App Store update. If it keeps happening, email us your device model and iOS version — that's usually enough to reproduce it.
Accessibility
The confidence slider is exposed to VoiceOver as an adjustable control: swipe up and down to move one detent at a time, exactly as a drag does. Dynamic Type and dark mode are both supported.
If something in Suppose doesn't work with the assistive technology you use, that's a bug. Tell us and we'll prioritise it.
